Pik Nik @ Nagore Road

Heard about this place but didn't have the time to check is out till last Saturday. We were quite early for dinner, so decided to kill our time here. We ended up using our time taking photos of the place, haha. Well, who can resists not to? xD

Walked right in, we were greeted by yellow light and yellow walls with colorful words written on them. I came to notice that, those are their menu creatively written on their wall.

Very simple menu and da frog~~~

Seating near the windows and door.

My Mango Yogurt Smoothie and my friend's Mocha Blended. My smoothie was ok, but my friend commented the mocha tasted more like coffee.

Big lightning painted on the wall in the other room.

Doorway 'vandalized' with more drawings...

Sometimes I think, Sometimes just too lazy. I just like those statement xD

The next blue room can cater for huge group of customers. Nice place to just hang out and chill with friends.

Plastic netted dustbin and plastic food covering net are used as lights. Love their creativity!

Lots of Jengas to kill time with.

They even have an al fresco area, which is an airwell actually. It was kinda hot, not my ideal place for a drink and chit chat. The standing fan wasn't on at that time though, so it could have been cooler.

Door recycled into table.

All in all, a great place to chill out and gather with friend. Most probably coming back again, and that time, will try the food xD

Cheers Restaurant and Bierhaus

My friend and I saw this coupon from myooo for Cheers and decided to give it a try. RM15 for a main course, soup of the day, ice lemon tea and ice-cream, well, worth trying. I didn't make any reservation, as it stated in the coupon "reservation is recommended for 5 person and above". There was only 2 of us, so we just walked in. But we went early, just in case, hehe....

Our Ice Lemon Tea. Tasted more like tea without any lemon -.-''

I can't quite figure out what soup this was. It tasted like mushroom soup but with a mixture of some other veggies in it. Saw some very small carrot cubes in it too. Hmmm... But we came to a conclusion it was mushroom soup, haha.. blek..

Cheers Carbonara, my main course. Spaghetti was al-dente and very cheesy. Not very generous on the mushroom and chicken but I was full with only half the portion. Tastewise, it was only mediocre in my opinion. Tasted better elsewhere.

Curry Pork Cutlets, my friend ordered this. Fried pork cutlets splashed with some Japanese curry. Tasted not bad, but a tad dry for me. My friend seems to enjoy it though she did had some hard time cutting the meat. Some parts are a bit too dry and hard.

And lastly, our ice-cream.

We don't have much choices on the main course to choose from due to the coupons. Not one of the signature dishes are up for selection. Might come back for a second visit to try some of the signature dishes.
