Was reading PenangTuaPui's blog last week, and came across a post on dessert. Right after I read the post and saw the pics, I know I must go there, blek. Been a fan of dessert ever since I was small. I don't really like sweet stuffs, but dessert is nice and it's not that really sweet. Plus, there is not much place you can have dessert in Penang.
My cousins and I went there last Friday night. We went there quite late. The place close at 10.30pm, and we only got there around 10.15pm =P, but the staffs there were more than welcome to serve us.
I wanted to try out a few of the dessert but was undecisive on which to choose. But after a while I realized I didn't have to waste my time deciding, as my cousins had done all the choosing. Just Audrey herself, she ordered 5 types of different desserts, wherelse Adrena ordered 3 types =.='' So I decided just to order the Mango Sago, and Audrea ordered the Honeydew Sago. The rest, I really don't recall all the names =x
And somehow that night, we didn't order any of the pudding, though there are a quite a variety to choose from. Guess they were all too tempted by the soupy dessert that they forgot about the pudding. But anyhow, there is always a next time to try it out xD There are other side dishes as well, such as fried rice, poh piah, etc, though we don't really pay much attention to them. Our main focus that night are only on the dessert.
The Honeydew Sago is not really that nice, and the Mango Sago is so so only in my opinion. But the rest of are quite nice, not too sweet. And oh, did I mentioned? It's low in calorie as well, so for those who are watching their diet, you all don't have to worry about having too much dessert. But since when too much is too much when it comes to dessert? ^^ The price is not expensive as well, but of course if you order those bird nest dessert, the price may not come cheap.
