Azuma @ QBM

After visiting the career fair last Saturday at PISA, my friend treated me to Azuma at QBM for some Japanese food. We browsed through the menu before we went in to check the price and found it to be quite reasonable on the set meal. Some of the ala carte and side dishes are kinda over-priced in my opinion or maybe Japanese food is always expensive all these while =\

It was my first visit to Azuma, so I was not very sure what to order and surprisingly no one ever suggested this place to me ever since it was open a few months back, hmmm...

Anyway, we decided to order a set meal to share and some side dishes.

My chopstick and saucer. Appeared to be blur, but it seems to look alright when I previewed it in my friend's mobile phone -.-''

Hotplate butter enoki mushroom. This dish was served very hot and from the photo you can see the steam rising from the enoki mushroom. This is nice and very fragrance but drawback is I don't really taste any butter on the mushrooms. The hotplate seems to absorb every bit of it.

Another shot of the enoki mushroom from a different angle. Less steam in the photo xD

Our unagi from our set meal. I forget to snap the full set meal. We were busy distributing the set that I only remember once we were done, zzz... The set actually comes with a miso soup, a chawamushi, a bowl of rice and some fruits. The unagi is just ok for me. Tasted the same as any other Japanese restaurant, nothing to really shout about.

We ordered the salmon which is on promotion on the month of November. The original price is at RM25 but for the whole November, you can enjoy it for the price of only RM10/plate. Per plate consisted of 5 thick juicy salmon slices. One word described it: ONZ!! I can say this is one of the best salmon I tasted so far. Two thumbs up from me =D

We ordered another plate of the salmon. Both of us can't have enough of it, lolz. This plate actually have 6 slices, I think it was because some of the slices were smaller. But nevertheless, still tasted as great as the first plate. My friend is a very big fan of Japanese food. And while she was enjoying her salmon, she was like floating in mid air -.-''

Our dessert, free if you dine in. A small scoop of vanilla with oats, though tasted like nestum to me, haha. It was nice, but a bit too sweet for me, hehe.

Overall it was a nice meal and I actually enjoyed it xD
