Choco and Dinner

I came back from a late lunch last Thursday at work, and I was surprised to see this on top of my laptop.

Chocolate, fresh from Aussie xD

It was a box of chocolate from my former boss. I heard from my manager he was in Penang for some sort of meeting. He is actually based in Sydney and will be here for 2 days. I met him for a while when I was on my way to lunch. The chocolate is to thank me for all the works I have done for him when we were still in the same team. He was a very good boss to work with and it’s too bad we are not in the same team anymore after the company's re-organization.

After I saw the chocolate, the first thing on my mind was to ask Kit to help me snap a photo of it with his iPhone. And I did just that before I went back, haha. Still haven't open the box of chocolate though, was too busy at work I actually forgot about it -.-''

Later on that night, he treated us to a nice seafood dinner at Bali Hai, Gurney. I got there late that night because my manager forgot to tell me where the dinner venue going to be =\ I was surprised when she called me and asked “Hello Amy, are you coming yet?” And I was like, “Huh? Coming where?” zzz…

Anyway, it was a great dinner and we had a nice time chatting with each other after dinner. He is no longer my boss, but he is a very nice colleague, and I really appreciate having him as my boss even if it was only for a short period.
