Buffet Lunch @Eastin Hotel

Attended a 2 days training last week in Eastin Hotel. Topic of the training, Emotional Intelligence in Organizations, one of the few trainings which I am require to take. But I am not going to elaborate much on the training, just want to share the 2 days free buffet lunch which was provided during the training xD

Training material provided by the training center. *wonders where I put them now -.-''* Training was conducted by Dr Alvin Tan from Prima Link Training and Consultancy. Not sure if anyone of you heard of him, but I heard he is quite famous. Very experienced trainer, funny guy, even taught us laughing yoga by laughing with our stomach. And we need to laugh with this rhythm, HO! HO! HA! HA! HA!...zzzz -.-!! *my expression exactly* We actually had quite some fun during the training, well at least it was not boring and sleepy.

Anyway, let's move on to lunch time xD

The lunch buffet area is just next to the lobby area. The lobby area is not as fancy as those in G-hotel or other 4 stars hotels, but Eastin is mainly caters for business people as it is very near to the FTZ.

Not satisfied with their services? Just drop them some comments. But from my dining experiences, there is not a need to. Staffs are friendly and polite, not to mention helpful too.

Lots of choices of food to choose from. For meat there were chicken, beef and lamb, seafood there were fishes, prawns and squids and lots of veggies as well.

Salad corner, the corner which I and will never touch, blek. Quite a variety of veggies and some selection of dressing to go with the salad.

Some of the appetizer choices. A first time for me to see sushi served as appetizer.

My pick of appetizer. The semi-circle thingy was actually cheese. Tasted pretty good, like it xD

Don't feel like eating any of the appetizers, breads were also available.

Crab meat soup, not bad, just a tad salty.

My main serving. Some briyani rice, mapo taufu, squids, fish fillet and chicken. Very full after that, hehe.

Some of the desserts available. Didn't try any of them though.

Ice-creams and their toppings. Tried the green one which was honey dew sago ice-cream. I kinda like it, always been a fan of honey dew xD Too bad they don't have chocolate syrup =x

Decorations around the food area. The mini tower is placed in the middle of the table.

Overall the food is not bad, slightly above mediocre for me. Varieties of food choices is there so that's a plus. And before I forgot, all the photos posted here were from Day 1 of my training. Didn't take any photos on Day 2, as I spent half an hour to walk back and forth from Eastin to my house just to get my training record -.-'' Had a very rush lunch on Day 2.

Guess what we had for tea time? xD
