Went out last Saturday with Ai Ling and Irene. Soo Ying, as usual mostly cannot make it so it was only the three of us, on our normal catching up routine, hehe. Normally I will 'hunt' around the net for places to hang out, but since Ai Ling was around, I only need to ask her for suggestions, wakakaka. Unlike me, she still read the papers and she knows most of the new eateries recommended by the papers.
So, that was how we ended up here, Moon Tree 47.
Considered as one of the heritage place, they didn't do much changes to the structure of the interior. Old furniture are recycled and used as tables, chairs and decorations.
Frappe. Ordered 3 different types. Espresso, Chocolate and Vanilla Frappe. The Espresso Frappe was blended together with some coffee bean. Nothing much on the Chocolate and Vanilla Frappe though.
French Toast. Generous amount of honey. A bit too much for me though. Can actually see the honey still dripping when the waitress served it to us. Which made it a bit too sweet to my liking. There supposed to be bananas in the toast as well, but I skipped it. Don't like banana, blek.
Saw this on the wall along the corridor to the restroom. Kinda cute, hehe.
Fighting fish, didn't see one for quite sometime now.
Small and old walkway to the restroom.
A message written at the restroom.
Table with different design of chairs. Don't really see much of these kind of chairs anymore.
Seating at the airway. Alfresco style =P
Some of the interior decoration of the place. There is even a recycle sewing machine used as a table.
I kinda like those hanging tins on top of the counter.
Bicycle renting service provided as well. Nice :)
Not a bad place to just hangout and talk. My only complain is the dust, which is almost everywhere. But maybe they are still in the middle of renovating the place so they don't bother to clear the dust yet. But still, I just can't stand dust -.-
PS: Actually wrote this post halfway but due to my hospitalization, it was delayed till now =D
