Birthday Boy - Mr. Eddie KwanWent to Sarkies Corner for a buffet dinner at E & O Hotel to celebrate TK aka Eddie's birthday last Saturday night. His birthday, was actually on the 08/08/08, the same day as the Beijing Olympic 2008 opening which is also regarded as a prosperous day with all the '8's.
Well, I could say this is one best buffet dinner I had, after Rasa Sayang and Park Royal. The food were superb, ranging from Japanese to Italian to Western to Chinese. Even the salad station looked tempting, but I'm not much of a fan for vege. I'm a carnivore, blek. So I helped myself to some local Chinese dishes.
Shu's pile of seafood *yummy*Halfway throughout our dinner, there were a band of 3 people performing live. They were singing Happy Birthday to one of the lady next to our table. We kinda joined in and applaused after they finished singing. And little did we realized, after they performed for her, they came to our table. Actually Shu had planned beforehand for them to sing for TK, lolz. TK was quite embarrassed that he actually looked so cute, hahaha. After the birthday song, they asked for one song request from TK and they will sing it for him. TK decided on Yesterday Once More by The Carpenters. We all sang along and I asked Dann to record a video of it. Haven't got it from him yet, will try to upload once I got it =D

Overall, the night was a blast. The price is quite worth it too as it is inclusive of free flow of wine and beer the whole night till 10pm. If budget allows, I won't mind dine here again in future.
