Germany - Melsungen (Part 2)

Woke up early the next morning, sweating. I was afraid it might be very cold at night, so I set the heater to the highest level before I went to sleep. Guess I was wrong -.-'' I went to re-adjust the level and that was when I notice this outside my window.

Sunrise, just outside my window. Partly blocked by a building, but nevertheless, still nice. Took the camera, opened the window and snapped it there, right from my room.

Went down to the car park area, after quickly brushing my teeth and washing my face. But the sun was already quite high when I reached the car park. So only managed to snap a few more photos.

Tiny moon crescent above the building, hard to see though.

The morning was very cold and I forgot to wear my jacket. Rushed back inside only after taking a few shots. Went back to my room, took a quick hot shower before I came down for breakfast.

The breakfast spread, very western obviously.

Different types of cereals, there was cornflakes as well. The only cereal I know =x

Lots of choices of breads. They were pretty hard to bite.

And my breakfast~ xD I like the bacon a lot, hehe.

Right after I finished my breakfast, I started my so called exploration around Melsungen. It was Sunday, so I had the whole day free to walk around. Didn't really have any specific place in mind to go, so I just walked and snapped whatever that attracted my attention.

I like how the leaves grow across the wall. The effect from Autumn just make it even nicer.

Eulenturm - Owl Tower, a preserved tower from the old town wall. I read that the tower used to be a prison.

Gothic town church, built between 1415 and 1425. Wanted to go inside but dare not to =P

There was a festival held at the marketplace that day. The place was full of people and food stalls. Wanted to try some of the food, but everything was written in German and they were too busy serving other customers to entertain me T_T

Sausage booth, wanted to try this but I didn't know where the seller went. I ended up only buying donuts with a generous amount of some sort of sourish jam inside.

Tested out the sepia color on this bridge. Looked kinda nice xD

A tree beside the bridge, with all its leaves drop off due to the Autumn season.

Views from the top of the bridge.

Hospitalskapelle St. Georg - St George's Hospital Chapel

Bartenwetzerbrücke - Axe Whetters' Bridge, built between 1595 and 1596. Crossed this bridge everyday.

A statue at the foot of the bridge, Axe Whetter.
