Pulau Aman, a place I wanted to go for quite sometime but didn't have the chance to. Decided to go during the Chinese New Year when Audrey was back. Famous for its Prawn Noodles and very fresh seafood, I was tempted to the small island.
We reached the pier at around noon which was kinda late due to the long jam at the Juru toll.
Batu Musang Jetty.
The boat schedule, not sure if the boat is still moving according to the schedule though.
In order to get to Pulau Aman, we need to get on a boat ride which lasts around 15 minutes. Small motor boat, looks kinda safe =x Life jackets are available on the boat but we are not required to wear them.
Some randoms shot while on the motor boat.
Once on the island, we headed straight to the Restoran Terapung (Floating Restaurant), all of us were already starving by then.
When we got to the restaurant, all the tables were full. No empty table available but lots of customers waiting to be seated -.-'' I didn't expect it to be so packed. We stood beside a table seated by a family. They were finishing up so we waited for them.
It took a while for the waiter to clear the table and I had to walk up to the counter to make our orders. All the staffs seem to be occupied with other tables. We only managed to have the Prawn Noodles that day as all the seafood were sold out for the day. And I was so looking forward to the mantis prawns T_T All the way out here and all we get were Prawn Noodles, haha. Oh well, maybe next trip I guess.
Fried Prawn Noodles, only SY ordered this. She said it was nice but tasted just like any normal fried noodles.
Prawn Noodles Soup, the rest of us opted for this dish. I personally like it. The soup is very rich in flavor and a tad spicy. Two large prawns which I gave to Adrena, this dish deserved a thumb up xD
Done with our lunch, we walked towards one end of the island. Took lots of photos of course and here are some to share.
The weather was very hot and we didn't walked to the other side of the island where the Telaga Emas is. We headed back to the pier and waited for the next boat to arrive. I wouldn't mind coming again, but the next time must be sure to reach early for the seafood.
