Last Wednesday, a girl jumped off a building at my apartment -.-''As I didn't read the newspaper for a very long time now, I only know of the news from my colleague on Friday. I was buzy with my work when my colleague suddenly asked me, "Eii... lu tua hapeng si em si wu ji le sui cha bor tiao lao ar?" which in direct translation means "Eii... the place you stay, got pretty gal jump building ar?"
I looked at her *blink blink* My face blank for a while. Then I remember something. I asked her if it was yesterday. She said yes. No wonder a few aunties gathered the at the cafeteria so early in the morning gossiping. No wonder there were a few policemen snooping around the block. No wonder a section of my block was stick with those yellow tape with the word "Dilarang Masuk". And yes, MY block =.='' I didn't bother with all of those yesterday morning as I was rushing to work. And when I got back I completely forgot all those ever happened, blek. My manager even asked me if I saw any human-shaped taped on the ground, zzzz.
I went out earlier with my friend just now, she told me she read the news in the chinese newspaper. I am not sure if it was in The Star papers though. My friend told me the girl suffered from depression. Her housemates, said she kept shouting at them during that night. But according to them she was always like that whenever she was in a bad mood so they didn't suspect anything would happened. They didn't realized that after she shouted at them she would actually ran out to the balcony and jumped off the buidling -.-'' According to the papers, the girl's bestfriend just passed away from an accident, and she was having some personal problems herself. Guess she can't handle the stress and tension, that made her decided to end her life. Or due to her depression illness, she wasn't thinking straight, so she just jumped =\ She was only 21 if I recalled correctly. Too bad she had to end her life at such a young age.
I reached home around 11pm++, closed to midnight. I looked up at the place where she jumped, thinking what a waste it was to end a life at such a young age. She was a part time model, who knows what the future may bring for her. When I walked passed where she err... 'landed', it was errie a bit. I kept having this stupid thought, that she stayed in the same block as me, and if she ever want to 'use' the lift, it would be the same lift I'll be using, zzzz.... *stupid stupid, too free izzit, think such thing* Was scared for a bit, but I guess it was just me. The incident just happened a few days back, so I guess it still gives me the creeps. But it will pass, after a while. Hopefully soon =x
May her soul rests in peace.

funny how human thinks... some chose to end their life while others struggled to hang on to dear life...
GELII. sigh.. shdn be that way la.. shdn have to end that way.
Kit: ya, but if she really suffered from depression, she was incapable of thinking straight. Maybe she wasn't even thinking when she jumped. Haih.
Joyce: ya, sad isn't it? =(
