Been having this discussion with SY for the past 1 or 2 weeks ago, about getting which digital camera. She was thinking of getting the Samsung PL151, which comes with the dual view feature. An extra small LCD screen on the front of the camera and you can cam whore all you want =P
Due to that feature, she was conned into thinking of getting it, hehe. I am not saying it's not a good camera, Samsung is a very well-known brand with lots of good quality products. But when it comes to digital cameras, my personal preferences goes out to Canon or Nikon. I brainwashed recommended her the Canon Ixus 130. Was thinking of getting it myself, but financially just doesn't permits it T_T
Anyway, after some discussion and debating, we went to Gurney, and the shops at Komtar and along Penang Road, surveying prices for both brands. There this one lady in one of the shop at Komtar, kept asking us a funny question.
"How much would the price be in order for you to buy it?" -.-''
Normally customer inquire for the price, seller provide the price. Simple as that. Both of us were taken aback by her question, but we leave her shop politely. Her lowest offer was still higher than the rest of the shops we been to anyway =x
The next day, we went over to PC Fair to check out the the prices they have to offer there. The prices were slightly higher than the one at Penang Road, but they offered some freebies to balance it up. We hunt for those "useful" freebies which are worth the extra amount of the camera's price.
We came upon a booth which offered the most freebies.

Canon big heavy umbrella - one more umbrella to dump in my car
Canon bathing towel - SY gonna use it for her dogs -.-
The rest of the booths offered either the extra battery or just a 8GB SD Ram. SY bought the camera on the spot xD Even paid an extra RM80 for the screen and UV protector. In case you guys still haven't noticed, she decided on the Canon Ixus 130 after seeing how "canggih" the photos are, blek.
