Yaw's Roast & Grill + movie

Went out last Saturday night with almost all my cousins and also my aunt and uncle. One of my cousin brother suddenly organised a movie night out. I made it at the last minute and luckily I did, as it was quite fun XD

We went for dinner at Yaw's Roast & Grill, which is somewhere behind Midlands 1-stop. My first time there, and as usual I snapped a few pictures but the place was dark, so I can hardly get a nice picture of the place. Only got one that is actually clear enough to be uploaded here, but still it looks kinda dark. We went quite late for our dinner, so we had to rush to make it in time for our movie at 9.30pm. I only managed to snap some of the food we ordered.

There are quite a veriety of food choices. All printed in an A4 paper. I decided to order the White Mushroom Grill Fish, which is something I never see in other western food's menu. Wanted to try something new. Ordered the mushroom soup as well, since my cousin highly recommended it. But after I tried it, I don't think I would order it again =.= It tasted like those powdery instant mushroom soup which can be bought in packets. The one which you just need to add water and stir, zzz... And it costs RM4 for just a small 'cup' =\

One of my cousin brother's friend order Black Pepper Chicken. But when they served it to him, it looked more like Brown Pepper Chicken, with button mushroom on top of the brown sauce ~.~ Not sure how it tasted though, never ask him. My cousin brother ordered the Sirloin Steak which came very hot and sizzling. He commented it as the food which made a sound before he ate it. And the hotplate was so hot that he even enjoyed cooking his veggies teriyaki style, =.='' He said the steak was not bad. So anyone is welcome to try next time XD

I don't really recall who ate what food that night, so I just post the photos of the food here. Paiseh ahh, *shy**shy* As for mine, it was not bad actually. Except for the white sauce which kinda need a get used to. The taste is kinda buttery with a tad of mint. Audrey commented it smelled like 'hong eui', swt. They are generous with the sauce, so the fish wasn't that dry. But the fish itself was smooth and nice. I wouldn't have mind eating it without the white sauce.

We kinda gobbled our food. Didn't had time to slowly enjoy our food. Need to rush for movie after that. In the end, I still prefer the western food at fettes park. But this place is not bad, can always give it a try.

We managed to reach the cinema and went inside just in time for the movie to start. Watched The Incredible Hulk. Not a bad movie, quite a lot of actions in it. Liv Tyler looked so blur and timid in that movie, but still as pretty as always.

After movie, we went for supper. But unfortunately for us, that mamak stall somehow didn't serve roti that night. So we ended up just ordered drinks and chat. I was getting a bit bored so I decided to play with my mobile phone's camera. As I was sitting near the end of the long adjancent tables, I stretched out my hand with my mobile phone to the center part of the table and snapped a picture without focusing or even looking at the display. And guess what I caught on camera, *giggles*

Hehe. And thanks for the dinner and movie treats. We had a nice time that night. XD
